Stayed at a hotel within an amusement park. The scenery was beautiful, and there was a great running path to burn off the calories from the daily breakfast, lunch, and dinner buffets.

Xanten

Enjoyed a delightful day in Xanten, savoring ice cream by a charming windmill.

Kleve

Chill day in Kleve walking around the shops.

Cologne

Second time at Cologne, decided to visit the Zoo. Thankfully the rain wasnt too heavy.

Essen

Went on a guided tour of the mines in Essen to gain a deeper understanding of German mining history and practices.

Rees

On the way back from one of our day trips, we were waiting for the bus (for almost an hour) and took a walk around the area.

Dusseldorf

Spent an enjoyable day in Düsseldorf, starting with delicious Ramen, a leisurely walk through Rheinplatz and quick visit to the Aquazoo.

Duisburg

I chanced upon a reddit post from a Duisburg Local that said:
